School Council

Our School Council plays an important part in discussing issues which affect our children.

It also organises events such as:

  • Organising hall decorations for Christmas and Easter
  • Running used book sales
  • Fundraising, such as the NSPCC Number Day
  • Taking part in the Keep Britain Tidy litter pick
  • Organising activities for significant events such as Royal weddings The Council meets regularly and is led by school staff.

The School Council is democratically elected. Any child from Year 2 to Year 6 can stand for School Council. Each candidate prepares and presents a small speech and the class then votes for a girl and a boy from each class to represent the Council.
