A message from Mrs Statham and Miss Mann
As we finish the school holidays, we would like to personally thank our school community for its unwavering support, understanding and appreciation this term.
St. Andrew's lost one of its beautiful children this term and it has left us all united in grief and sadness. Emma's memory will live on in our hearts and in our school and when the time is right, we will unite again in celebration, with a fitting tribute to Emma.
To our parent community – thank you for taking an active part in your child's learning, for helping other families in our school and most of all, for showing trust and respect towards our staff, who regularly go the extra mile to ensure your children continue to thrive at our school. The emails of thanks and appreciation received over the past few weeks have kept us going.
To our pupils, who continue to challenge and surprise us every day with their positive energy, enthusiasm and spirit.
To our governing board, who have given senior leaders much-needed support this term. We are very grateful.
Finally, to our staff. At a time when schools are dealing with chronic issues around funding, escalating costs of building repairs, attendance, workload and complaints, our staff continue to work together, to nurture, counsel, encourage and challenge all our pupils.
We wish our staff and families a healthy and happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you all on 5th January 2026.
