Attendance Award

{item_alt_tag}

Sadly, no classes achieved 100% attendance in the last two weeks.

Classes with 99% attendance:
4B and 5W

Congratulations to the 35 children throughout the school who achieved 100% this year. You are real superstars!

An email has been sent to all parents regarding the new guidance around taking holidays in term time. This will  take effect from 19th August 2024.

An end of term message from Mrs Statham

This term has truly been one of the busiest I can remember. The teachers and pupils have packed so much into every school day, even in the last days leading up to the end of term. Last week, Year 1 children made ice cream, Year 2 children performed their country dances to parents and Year 6 performed two evening shows and attended their end of year prom in the same week!

There are always so many people to thank at the end of this term. Firstly, I would like to thank our Year 6 parents for their years of support, for raising money through many, many events over their time at St. Andrew's. Their children's time has come to an end, but they leave a legacy for the next pupils. Thank you for all you have done to help the school.

Secondly, to the hard-working staff in our school, without whom, a school cannot thrive. So many staff, regardless of their role, go the extra mile  to support whole families, far beyond the classroom. They are all exhausted and ready for a well-deserved summer break.

And finally, to the wonderful children of St. Andrew's. They are the reason we are all here and they unite our whole community. Children - have a wonderful time with your family and friends, keep safe outside and online and we look forward to seeing you back in time for school on 3rd September.

Best wishes,

Mrs Statham  - Head of School

THANK YOU!

THANK YOU!

THANK YOU

We are so very grateful to every parent who has bought an item from our Amazon wish list. We now have glue sticks, pens, felt tip pens, chalks, whiteboard pens, playground balls and lunchtime play equipment, ready for the new term. This has helped the school enormously.

PTA NEWS!

More amazing news from our fabulous PTA. Every person who bought something at the fair, paid for an ice pop on Fridays or bought a ticket for the disco has helped to contribute to this huge total. Well done to the St. Andrew's Community! We look forward to showing you what some of the money has been spent on in September.

Year 6 Prom - St. Ignatians Rugby Club

After two hot evenings of performing their end of year show 'Darwin Rocks' the Year 6 children were able to let off steam at their prom. The parents did a fantastic job of decorating the room in blue and white, playing some great tunes and presenting every children with a beautifully made gift box to take home. They are very lucky children.

Year 2 Country Dancing

Last week on another rather hot afternoon, our Year 2 classes took to the field to showcase their country dancing to parents and family. It was lovely to see parents joining in, too, following the lead from the experts! Thank you to Mrs Cahalan and Ms Sanders for organising the event.
